Tory Lanez and Joyner Lucas have been going head to head in a battle of lyricism and artistry for a minute now. A multitude of verbal blows were exchanged between the two artists in the form of scorching tracks including, "Lucky You Freestyle," ""Litty Freestyle," "Litty Again," and "ZEZE Freestyle."

During a recent appearance in his native Ontario, Lanez brought his rivalry with Lucas to a standstill, declaring himself the victor. "That Joyner Lucas kid: I want to offer this moment right now to give him a good moment of silence. Rest in peace because today his career is over," he told his Toronto audience."Joyner Lucas, we killed you. It's done."

Proving that his rivalry with Lucas was not the only thing on is mind, Lanez went on to comment on the level of talent in Toronto, reminding his supporters that Canadian artists have and will continue to hold their own against their American counterparts. "I want Toronto to know that any of these f***kin' American n***as that think they gon' step on us [...] let them n***as know we acceptin' all fades, all battles, all everything," he announced to the crowd.
