Westmoreland Most Wanted Arrested

One of Westmoreland’s most wanted man is behind bars.

He is Davion Brown, otherwise called ‘Balti’ of a Savanna-la-Mar address.

It is understood that Brown was arrested on December 15 following an operation in Grange Hill in the parish. A Taurus 9mm pistol with five 9mm rounds of ammunition was also found in his possession.

According to the Savanna La Mar police, Brown was named as wanted for the murder of 22-year-old Ocielle Hall on Great Georges Street in Westmoreland.

Brown was interviewed in the presence of his lawyer last Thursday and was formally charged with murder, shooting with intent and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

He is scheduled to appear before the Westmoreland Parish Court on January 9.
