Journalist Janice Budd Is Dead

Long time journalist Janice Budd has died, Budd, 49 died on Tuesday after a long battle with cancer.

At the time of her passing Budd was employed to the Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ) as operations manager, communications and member services.

She worked for several years at the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation, CVM TV, RJR and the Jamaica Observer as a reporter, presenter and editor.

Budd also worked in the communications unit at the National Commercial Bank before joining Shipping Association of Jamaica.
